Yes! The locomotive glows with a lit headlamp, puffs real (harmless, water-based) smoke, and plays classic train sounds and a whistle. A simple 3-way switch lets you pick lights-only, lights + sound, or off.

Okay this exceeded my expectations!! Everyone who comes over stops and stares at it going around the tree. My son named it and now insists we turn it on before dinner every night lol. Took me a couple tries to get the track sitting right on the branches but once it clicked it stayed put all season. Stock up on batteries because you WILL want to run it constantly. So happy I grabbed this one.

This is the best holiday purchase I have made in years! The size is perfect, not too big and not too tiny, and it wraps around the tree just right. The little smoke effect got a real gasp out of my mom haha. Honestly the box could use clearer instructions but I figured it out in about fifteen minutes. Runs smooth and quiet if you want it to. Buying a second one for my sister!

My kids are OBSESSED. They sit under the tree and watch it loop for what feels like forever, it actually gives me a few minutes of peace during the chaos of December haha.
